GMA's on-air apology noted

Reeling from the guilt of remaining silent towards the audio conversations, PGMA finally came out last night and spoke about the illicit wiretapped conversation involving her and Commissioner Garci. I happen to be watching 24 oras at that time when suddenly Gloria's face popped up on our tv screen. In the past, I never put value or importance everytime Gloria comes out in our tv screens and say and/or comment about something that is of interest to our beloved country, I even never remembered the last time she spoke like that. The broadcast was something that pulled my attention to the point that I ignored a phone call which I believe at that point was coming from a call center that I applied to online. It was really something that meant my full attention since PGMA was put into the hotseat and grave threats of her leaving the position too soon gave so much dent into my life.

Commenting on this one is really a tough task since I only know a fraction of the issue. Honestly speaking, I wasn't able to keep track of this issue, I just don't want to. Maybe, it's just that I don't have the time to listen and really understand what the both sides are trying to prove. I don't want to pretend that I know a lot about it and then present my opinion which might lack coherence in it. What I do is just to hop on to several blogs and see if my POV matches or differs in many ways.

But with what I heard from what she declared, I am not so sure whether she is apologizing for speaking to Garci which is really inappropriate in the time of election bickering or whether she is saying sorry for cheating last elections. That we must let go of the past and move on to working as one Philippines. While saying that particular line, I've seen her smile a bit, an indication that, well, she has to do more practice. But nevertheless, she conveyed it with conviction.

Well, back to training. Im actually right here in our training room, really dozing off. I wish I had more time to read about this issue and eventually give my opinion on this concern.

First day of training

Today is actually my first day of training at ACS, a call center located in Makati. I was assigned in the US Airways account and I'm really looking forward to learning different things about the company as well as various info about the United States. Im really interested in learning more a lot about USA since it was included in the curriculum of this training, I will put efforts in knowing some of the things thats still unknown for me.

Actually, prior to this training, I underwent a one-week Soft Skills Training. It's all about enhancing and possibly shifting our accent to the standard American English accent. We also tackled about the American Dream, the aspiration of setting foot to America and achieving beyond what our parents has so gone far. The trainer also introduced us to the American history, culture and some other stuff and we went along memorizing State capitals and abbreviations. Each day our trainer is giving us quizzes, technically a classroom-like test, to determine whether we're learning something or not. Passing score is 90%. At the end of the soft skills training, we had a little party where we had boodling and singing.

This is bullshit!

Darn it! I haven't updated this blog for like an eternity!! If there is a supreme court for blogging, I would have been sentenced guilty for obvious reasons.
